2-Day Airsoft Event held at EMR Event Park
May 21st and 22nd 2022

Downfall Eight is an Airsoft Force on Force Game with the main objective being map domination. Players
skills will be tested, as they battle through Castles, Cities, Bridges, Forts and many more of challenging
environments that make up EMR. So come join the battle if you can handle the massive 122 acre facility.

Pricing: The cost per player is $60. ALL ENTRY FEES INCLUDE UNLIMITED COMPRESSED AIR FILLS. This entry fee covers your game play for both Saturday and Sunday. There is no Maximum number of players for Operation Downfall 8. All Tickets are non-refundable.

Waivers: Please print and fill out both the EMR and OWM waivers before arriving at EMR. This will greatly speed up the process.

 

Players are welcome to arrive after 3:30pm on Friday 5/20/22 and stay through SUNDAY, 5/22/22.

drawn from these tickets. Some prizes will be revealed prior to the event on the Operation Downfall Facebook
page.

Your vest/pouches/backpack can be whatever color you wish(except red) but we recommend not wearing the opposing team's color of headgear. This will increase the chances of friendly fire.

You must follow our rules for camo or you will not be permitted to play. Please don't think you are going to be allowed to wear woodland pants with a desert top. Match your top and pants with camo patterns of your team.

( We have had multiple problems identifying players while wearing a tank top, or not wearing a shirt especially when there vest and gear match the other teams camo so no more)

YOU MAY WEAR GHILLIE OR LEAF SUITS BUT WE RECOMMEND IT MATCH YOUR TEAM COLORS OR YOU MAY BE FRIENDLY FIRED AT A LOT.



OTHER WORLD MILSIM (OWM) RULES

All players are required to attend the safety briefing prior to the start of the game!

 

Who Can Play: The minimum age to play is 12 years of age. All players under the age of 18 MUST have a
waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian!

 

Rules & Safety: (OWP & EMR) considers safety its #1 priority followed closely by fun and excitement!
Airsoft & Milsim is geared towards the mature, level-headed player. Common sense and the right, fair-play,
honest attitude are a must at our events.

(OWP) requires everyone to have a barrel cover over the tip of their gun when not on the playing field, as well
as magazine out and safety on! All pistols must be holstered.


(OWP) Approved Face Protection must remain on at all times while on the field or Chronograph Areas. Do
not remove Face Protection under any circumstance. Fully sealed approved goggle systems must be used
including paintball Goggle/Mask systems or approved full seal Airsoft goggles that meet or exceed ASTM
standards. The full face and ears must be covered by a mask system for players under 18 and for over 18 a
balaclava, bandana, or other protection to prevent injury or penetration of BBs from face and ears. There will
be a Mandatory Ejection of any players lifting or removing goggle/ full-face mask system while in goggle on
areas (Playing Field, Chronograph Area, Target Area) after being personally warned once. This includes any
action in which a player touches his/her Eye Protection in such a way that the seal of the goggles is broken.
NO MESH GOGGLES! (ANSI Z87.1 and/or ASTM F-1776-99a rated (or greater) ballistic eye protection will
be accepted.)

 

Cease Fire: Players or staff should call “cease fire” if you or another player is injured or loses their eye
protection and requires immediate Admin/Medical attention. You will need to both vocally and via Comms (if
possible) make the “cease fire” call with approximate location and details of the incident. Everyone stop where
you are and wait for a game on call from staff.

 

Mandatory Equipment: Gun, Face Protection/Goggles, red dead rag.

 

Recommended Equipment: Helmet, boots, knee pads, gloves, long pants and long sleeve shirt. Lower face
mesh is also recommended.

 

PLAYER CONDUCT


No verbal abuse, name-calling, profanity, etc. will be tolerated.
No stealing, vandalizing, or fighting. (you will be turned over to the police)

No Drugs or Alcohol
No blind firing permitted. You must be aware of where your BBs are flying.
Game staff or Referee has the final say. So no Arguing with Staff.

WEAPONS
 

Spring and Electric Weapons: MUST chronograph @ 1.55 joules (408 fps) or under with 0.20g BB's. Full auto
may be used at 20 RPS or under

(10' minimum engagement while using full auto rifles and pistols. No minimum engagement for semi-
automatic pistols and rifles)

HPA, Gas, and CO2: Must chronograph @ 1.55 joules (335 fps) or under with.30g BB’s. Full auto may be
used at 20 RPS for Gas and C02 and up to a 10rd burst for HPA rifles.

you may use an HPA tapped gas pistol or rifle with full auto, this is the only exception to the HPA rule for burst fire.

(10' minimum engagement while using full auto or burst rifles and pistols. No minimum engagement for semi-

automatic pistols and rifles)

Support Weapons: Must chronograph based on its appropriate weapon classifications of electric or air
powered. Full Auto may be used with a cap of 30 RPS (rounds per second) for AEG and 20 RPS for HPA. Minimum engagement distance is
50 Ft. Must be an actual support weapon. If your weapon can be selected to semi auto then there is no minimum engagement while using semi auto. You must break the plain of the window on the first floor to shoot out of buildings or structures on full auto.

 

Snipers: MUST chronograph @ 2.51 joules (520 fps) or under with 0.20g BB's and the rifle being a bolt
action non-air or non-gas powered weapon or @ 2.51 joules (425 fps) or under with .30g BB's for bolt action

air or gas powered rifles. All snipers MUST use a bolt-action single shot rifle only. No automatic or semi-
automatics allowed. Minimum engagement distance is 100 Ft.
 You must break the plain of the window on the first floor to shoot out of buildings or structures.

DMR: Must chronograph @ 1.88 joules (450 fps) or under with .20g BBs for electric rifles or 1.88 joules (365 fps) or under with .30g BBS for air or gas powered rifles. Minimum engagement distance is 50 Ft. you must purchase a special DMR patch to identify the role to game staff. Patch will be available at the vending area.

(A DMR must break the plane of a window before shooting out of a structure on the first floor of a building only. This prevents players getting shot at point blank) (IF YOU ARE RUNNING A DMR YOU MAY NOT SHOOT FULL AUTO AT ALL NO MATTER WHAT DURING THIS EVENT. DOING SO WILL GET YOU EJECTED FROM THE GAME) If you have a semi lock we recommend you use it. Your gun will be special tagged at crono and we will spot check during the event.

If you do not chronograph below safety limits will not be allowed on the field! NO EXCEPTIONS!
VELOCITY REDUCERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE USED TO BRING YOUR WEAPON UNDER
THE FPS LIMITS!


If you get caught tampering with the ROF or FPS after you have been to chrono and have not re-chronoed
your gun, YOU WILL BE EJECTED FROM THE GAME!
NO PHYSICAL CONTACT OR HAND TO HAND COMBAT WILL BE ALLOWED! (Violation of this rule
will result in immediate ejection)

Magazines: At (OWM) battle games there is no restriction on what type of airsoft magazines you can use.

BB's: BIODEGRADIBLE BB'S ONLY! Any weight BB can be used for game play after chrono (no metal or ceramic BBs of any kind are allowed to be used. If caught using either, there will be an automatic ejection from the facility). Vendors will have plenty of bio BB's for sale.

 

Grenades: No dummy grenades allowed! In order to kill a player inside a building with a grenade your
grenade must discharge. (Thunder B's, Tornado,etc.) Kill radius 15'. the blast ignores hard cover.
To kill a player outside of a building the bbs have to hit you from the discharged grenade.

 

Smoke: At (OWM) battle games smoke is allowed, but only at certain areas on the field that will be identified
before the game and only cold burning SPORT smoke grenades are allowed at EMR

Bang Bang Rule: NO MORE BANG BANG RULE If a player enters in close range combat, inside the 10' minimum engagement distance where firing his/her full auto weapon is against the rules you must use semi-automatic. If you do not have a semi Automatic weapon in retreat to the appropriate minimum engagement distance.

Hit Rule: Airsoft is a game of honor, CALL YOUR OWN HITS. Do not call opposing team players out. If
you believe the hits on that player are not being called please inform a ref and he will look into it. Players
caught cheating will get one warning and after that they will be ejected from the game.
If you are hit anywhere on your person or gear you are out. Friendly fire counts. All Hits count except for
Ricochets. After you are hit yell "HIT" or "OUT" and pull out your red dead rag and make sure it is visible.
Weapon Hits do not count.
(OWM) requires every player to have a red dead rag on their person while playing. The red dead rag is to be
placed on top of your head or held up high when you are hit to symbolize you are out.

 

Dead Man Tell No Tales: If you are shot, you may not communicate with any player in play. The only thing
you are allowed to do is call for a "MEDIC". Please walk back to your base or re-spawn point.

 

Medic Rule: At (OWM) the “medic” must untie a knot on your health rope for you to be revived. Each player will be issued a rope at rules. 3 knots will be tied on the rope giving you 4 lives. Once all lives are gone you must go back to command. Once at command you may put the knots back on your medic rope and re enter battle. ONLY medics are allowed to heal other Medic players. Medics will be issued at rules. 2 medics per 10 players. medic role can be changed at command. IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE ON THE FIELD OFTEN DO NOT BE A MEDIC!

(The medic rule has been changed for 2022 to make key areas on the map more playable. No more unlimited lives)

 

Bleed Out Rule: NO MORE BLEED OUTS! (if a medic can not reach you then you must return to
respawn).

 

Radios: (not mandatory) but recommended to get game updates for your team. There is NO radio warfare.
Please no listening on enemy team’s channels. Channels 1-3 are used for staff and game control, 4-6 Alpha
green, 7-9 Bravo Orange.

DEADZONE: the deadzone is represented by red on the event map. The team whos CP is in the deadzone may shoot out but the other team may not shoot in. If you get shot while in your deadzone you are not hit and may keep firing back. We put the deadzone in play to try an eliminate spawn camping.

 

Game Play: Gather team flags and attempt to take control of the city, castle, fort, and town. Bonus mission

will be handed out randomly.
